Arugga is a pioneering AgTech company specializing in greenhouse robotics. Our flagship product is a robotic pollination solution designed to revolutionize the way greenhouse crops are grown. Headquartered in Israel, we are expanding rapidly into international markets with cutting-edge solutions for modern agriculture.

We seek an experienced Controller to join our team and lead the financial function during rapid growth. The role includes full responsibility for preparing financial statements, managing the bookkeeping function, building, and analyzing complex financial models, and providing ongoing support for strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Full responsibility for closing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports by the relevant reporting standards.

  • Manage and provide professional guidance to an external bookkeeping team.

  • Build financial models, cash flow statements, budget vs. actual analyses, and forecasts to support business analysis and decision-making processes.

  • Manage the annual audit process with external auditors.

  • Develop and monitor processes, policies, and internal reporting to strengthen financial control.

  • Collaborate with company leadership on fundraising, pricing, and project feasibility evaluations.

  • Operate effectively in a dynamic environment with multiple internal and external interfaces.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with 3+ years of experience as a Controller, preferably in startup/technology companies.

  • Proven experience in preparing financial statements and leading accounting closing processes.

  • Experience in managing and motivating teams.

  • Strong proficiency in building and analyzing financial and economic models.

  • High-level proficiency in Excel and the Priority ERP system.

  • Native-level English – mandatory (speaking, reading, and writing).

  • Ability to work under pressure, with strong organizational skills, high accuracy, and advanced analytical thinking.

  • Experience working with investors and venture capital funds.

  • Familiarity with analytical tools.
